2022 Mackenzie William 1896 Riesling

Exhibiting all the fresh aromatic citrus finery that Eden Valley Riesling is so well known for; pressed lemon, fresh lime flavours, cut green apple and a tease of spring orange blossom zip across the palate in generous verses. Soft acidity and minerality form the linear rhythm section of this elegantly lengthy dry Riesling style. Our 12th vintage of our Mackenzie William Riesling, made from vines dating back to 1896 – believed to be the oldest Riesling vines in Australia and why we named it after our oldest grandson Mack. Made in an approachable style, it is thoroughly enjoyable upon release, but it will also age gracefully for a decade or so (for those who love an aged Riesling).

2022 Tru-Su Rose

An alluring pale pink hue, born from the most delicate skin contact during winemaking. This dry style Eden Valley Shiraz Rosé is as juicy as nature intended, with bright, fresh generosity of ripe fruits. Made from from our Shiraz grapes and named after Trudi and Susan, our two daughters who love this style of wine.

2020 Zip Line Shiraz

Rosewood red purple in colour, it impresses from the get go with dense rose petal perfume, plum quince fruits and a hint of vanilla on the nose, followed by a chewy mouthful of warm lush purple fruits, held together with well balanced tannin and acid. Named after the zip line cable at our vineyard, which generates endless laughter for all generations of the family. Much like this wine, it’s a smooth ride to the end. These Shiraz grapes were plucked from a combination of our older Shiraz vines with an average vine age of 60 years, to give depth and complexity, and from our younger vines planted in 2008, to give fruit freshness and vibrancy.

2019 Megan Jane Grenache

Splendidly ripe and inviting on the nose showing dark plum, cured meat, dried herb and a hint of leather notes, followed by a supple palate displaying succulent fruit flavours with smooth rounded mouthfeel. Silky and flavoursome with an attractive spicy finish. This gold medal winner is only our third Grenache release, but each one has been a cracker! Named after Megan, an integral part of our Brockenchack family since its inception, as a nod to her ongoing dedication.
