2023 Brockenchack On Point Pinot Grigio

Bright and lively with gorgeous gentle tropical aromas. Wonderfully juicy lime, a splash of lemon and ripe pear, then fresh stone fruit flavours seem to swirl around each other, with what feels like a beautiful honeysuckle and white peach chaser. Soft on the palate, our Pinot Grigio is created to be gently dry, with a deliciously refreshing finish. Named in honour of our granddaughters Bronte and Charli, and their passion for and excellence in ballet and dancing over the years. It’s a play on the French ballet term en-pointe; to stand on one’s toes in full extension – no easy feat – but something both girls can do with grace and elegance.

2022 Brockenchack Mackenzie William 1896 Riesling

Exhibiting all the fresh aromatic citrus finery that Eden Valley Riesling is so well known for; pressed lemon, fresh lime flavours, cut green apple and a tease of spring orange blossom zip across the palate in generous verses. Soft acidity and minerality form the linear rhythm section of this elegantly lengthy dry Riesling style. Our 12th vintage of our single vineyard Eden Valley Mackenzie William Riesling, made from vines dating back to 1896 – believed to be the oldest Riesling vines in Australia and why we named it after our oldest grandson Mack. Made in an approachable style, it is thoroughly enjoyable upon release, but it will also age gracefully for a decade or so (for those who love an aged Riesling).

2018 Charli Jaye Chardonnay

An extremely food friendly Chardonnay. Light green tinged pale straw in colour. The perfumed lift of pears, apples and vanilla bean nougat set the aromatics bar high with this Eden Valley Chardonnay, grown in the rugged cool climate Eastern Barossa Ranges near Peggy’s Hill. The streamlined sleek elegant palate has a clean steel acid thread running through seamless layers of pear apple fruit and bright spice oak, with an extended line and length to a very tidy finish. Named after our youngest granddaughter Charli, a sophisticated Chardonnay style was intended from the outset. Our fourth incarnation of Eden Valley Chardonnay stays true to our philosophy of seeking elegance and was subsequently awarded a gold medal at the 2020 Melbourne International Wine Competition.
