Like a fresh serve of Wimbledon strawberries and cream, our 2024 Tru-Su Eden Valley Rose greets you with all this aromatic finesse, class, pretty bright pink colours and welcoming notes of mandarin too.
Such a wonderful array of succulent mixed summer fruits simply fills the palate in fresh and lively style, with gorgeous soft mouthfeel, lifting notes of juicy mandarins, ripe nectarine and delicate rose petals dancing along the gorgeous long finish.
Our single vineyard 100% Shiraz Rosé is named after Trevor and Marilyn’s two daughters Trudi and Susan, who love this style of wine.
You may notice the colour of our Rose is more of a bright coral pink this year. This is due to a spike in warm temperatures right before harvest, which affects the colour of the wine at harvest. We don’t like to strip colour from our wines, as this process also strips flavour and character, so we bottle them as nature intends each year. Just part of the fun of single vineyard wine making! The flavour and fruit profile bursting out of this vintage is full of impact and this wine is almost sold out in Australia!

Overcoming challenges posed by a delayed harvest in the cool, wet summer, our team meticulously crafted outstanding whites, including Pinot Gris and the revered 1896 Mackenzie William Riesling. Subsequently, meticulously picked reds followed suit, capturing the essence of ripe, high-quality fruit.
A historic milestone was reached with the inaugural crush in our state-of-the-art winery and our first bottling in our brand-new bottling plant.
