2021 TRU-SU ROSE

“Sipping it reveals mouthfilling, zesty textures, and an edge of blackcurrant”

“Here’s a shout out to all the gemologists in the house. This wine could absolutely be a liquid Padparadscha Sapphire amirite? It’s the rarest, most beautiful of all sapphires and famous for its pinky-sunset colour. Named after Trudi and Susan, daughters of Brockenchack’s owners Marilyn and Trevor Harch, this rosé looks like it’ll be lolly-like, but no. It’s dry dry dry people. You’ll feel parched just looking at it! Sipping it reveals mouthfilling, zesty textures, an edge of blackcurrant and it’s wicked with watermelon and lime salad.”

2021 ON POINT PINOT GRIGIO

“Cleansing, succulent, and dangerously drinkable, it’s refreshing, roaring with flavour, softly spiced, and super sexy”

“It might say ‘pinot grigio’ on the label, but don’t go a-thinkin’ it’s going to be raspy and lean like a lot of them. To us, the On Point is absolutely that. It’s dry, sure, but also totally delicious and generous in our book. Ultra-juicy and bursting with baked apple and nashi, it reflects what the cooler Eden Valley subregion is capable of. Cleansing, succulent, and dangerously drinkable, it’s refreshing, roaring with flavour, softly spiced, and super sexy with roast pumpkin and herb salad.”

2018 ZIP LINE SHIRAZ

“Lush and lovely”

“Here in Kiwiland we call a ‘zip line’ a ‘flying fox’ because we all feel a bit foxier when we’re hurtling at speed hanging from a wire contraption with certain death or disability resulting if we let go right? Nothing sexier. Except perhaps this wine. Spicy, sultana cake aromatics envelop the nose, followed by a rich, warming, woolly mouthfeel.  It’s an exotic-yet-home-comfort example that’ll reward anyone praying for blackcurrant, pepper, eucalypt and cocoa in their sipping.  Lush and lovely when savoured with old-fashioned, peppery Shepherd’s Pie.”

2017 HARE HUNTER PINOT NOIR

“It’s a cool-climate Eden Valley pinot noir that’ll rock your socks”

“If you’ve not experienced clove in your pinot noir, then strap yourself in because here’s your new Nancy! With its ultra-exotic spices on the nose and palate, it’s a cool-climate Eden Valley pinot noir that’ll rock your socks. Named after the founders’ grandsons, who spend a fair bit of time stalking hares on the vineyard, it’s a style with savoury layers and spiced cherry and earth notes for days. Seriously consider sipping it with slow-cooked, spicy pulled lamb sliders.”
