2024 ON POINT PINOT GRIGIO

Original price was: $24.00.Current price is: $22.00.

Experience the vibrant charm of our 2024 Pinot Grigio.

Its bright, fresh aromas are a delicate blend of citrus, lime, and inviting tropical notes. Each sip delivers the distinctive ‘straight off the vine’ freshness of Eden Valley, unfolding softly yet generously across the palate. Enjoy wave after wave of bright orange, zesty lime, and ripe peaches, with a hint of mango that lingers beautifully.

Our ‘On Point’ Pinot Grigio is named in honour of our two granddaughters; Bronte and Charli, in acknowledgement of their passion for, and excellence in both ballet and dancing over the years. It’s a play on the French ballet term en-pointe; to stand on one’s toes in full extension -no easy feat- and something both girls can do with grace and elegance.

What’s the difference between Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio?… Both wines are made from the same Pinot Gris grape (gris being French for grey, the colour of the Pinot Gris grape). The difference between the two wines comes in the winemaking technique. The Italian style Pinot Grigio wines are typically lighter-bodied, crisp, fresh, with vibrant stone fruit and floral aromas and a touch of spice. In contrast, the French style Pinot Gris wines are typically full-bodied, richer, spicier, and more viscous in texture. We make our Brockenchack On Point Pinot in the Italian grigio style, purely because we prefer it that way.

Enjoy anytime as an aperitif or pair with a myriad of foods, dishes, or cuisines. Seafood is always a great idea – think prawn linguine, or fish and chips at the weekend. This would also be delightful with salmon, salt and pepper calamari, or sushi. Poultry is another great option – try it with chicken risotto with garden peas or a delicious butter chicken for a winter warmer, or grilled chicken Caesar salad. For a vegetarian options pair with mushroom and goats cheese pizza.
