It is no lie that our On Point Pinot Grigio has remained a stalwart of the summertime and has been a crowd pleaser in Australia since its inaugural vintage in 2016.

Not only is this wine a Brockenchack family favourite, but in a recent Australian campaign ‘Love It or your Money Back’ not a single refund was issued. The people have spoken – they love it too!

You can imagine our excitement when we received the news at the end of 2021 that not only had our On Point Pinot Grigio received 94 points from Winestate Magazine, but it was also given an award by all 7 judges! This is the first time our On Point Pinot Grigio has been entered into a competition and to receive such a fantastic accolade is the icing on the cake for this fantastic wine.

The 2021 vintage is the sixth production of this stellar gem, and while there is vintage variability every year -hue particularly- we aren’t making a non-vintage champagne after all; the same elegance and finesse is evident with each edition. Picture a tropical paradise; guava and ruby grapefruit dance on the palate, backed up by lemon zest burst that leave the observer quenched and refreshed at the same time. The perfect accompaniment for a sun-drenched summer’s day. Add some fresh seafood and you’ll never want to leave paradise.

By now you know all our Brockenchack Wines tell a story of our family or places that are special to us…

Our On Point Pinot Grigio is named in honor of granddaughters’ Bronti and Charli’s dancing careers, a play on the ballet term “en pointe” where ballet dancers dance gracefully on their toes. This technique is difficult to master, but once perfected can be truly spectacular… and is something both girls manage to execute with grace and elegance.

This wine is available in New Zealand for you all to try, so let’s celebrate all things On Point Pinot Grigio and toast to that… Cheers!
